Default Items

Specifies default number of items to create within the section during a new status update.

From the section settings dialog you are able to specify the value for Default Items.

If Default Items is set to 3 then 3 items will be created when you start a new status update.

If you enter all 3 items then you will be able to use a button to add additional items.
