while the debate continues in the states...
There are some interesting comments and discussions that this article seems to have provoked- obviously whether or not Mexico city made a wise choice, but also why same-sex marriage is or isn't unethical and whether or not being gay is a choice.
I'm actually somewhat bothered by that last bit (and a lot of these gay marriage debates always seem to go there) because why should it matter if it's a choice or not anyway? It only matters if you side with the more conservative people and think there is something unethical about the result of the choice: engaging in same-sex relations, marriage, etc.
